A MODEST NARRATION OF THE UNSEEN is a concept line based on a theological study of Justification, Sanctification and Glorification through twelve visual expositions.
THE TWELVE VISUAL EXPOSTIONS will be presented as a three part series, comprised of four designs per series. Each series is marked with an icon which represents the overall theme of the particular doctrine we are studying.
On the third Monday of each month at 1pm PST a new limited edition design will be released online and will be available only for three weeks.
At the end of the year we will have released twelve different designs covering Justification, Sanctification and Glorification. It is our hope that we were able to give insight, sound teaching and a creative perspective on the significance of these doctrines and what they mean.
...you may have noticed is going to be a little different that what we have done in the past. October 2011 marked the 10-year anniversary of ephraim and during this time we took a step back to look at where we have been and where we want to go. A lot has changed over the last 10 years, we have gone from a fun little hobby working out of a garage to a full-time indie clothing line traveling the country promoting and growing our brand. Along the way we started a design and print studio with a friend who has become one of our most trusted companions and I (Cameron) had the privilege of marrying my sweetheart Alana. She is the most amazing, exciting and loving woman I could have ever met and to top it off just over a year ago we were blessed with the joy of our lives, Lucy.
All of this got us thinking what's next? ...and a modest narration of the unseen was created.
ephraim is a concept based clothing brand based in Fresno, California. Our story is pretty simple. We decided to feed our love for art, music, fashion and Jesus by creating a clothing line that reflected these loves and helped others at the same time. All we are trying to do is make a difference wherever we can with the clothing we create.
Being an independent brand has given us a lot of room to do things they way we want to. We don't have to stick to seasonal releases or trends or this or that, we can just do what we want and give our customers the utmost attention. We like to think of ourselves as a company where everyone feels welcomed.
ephraim isn't anything without the help our friends, family, volunteers, and those who have come together over the years to support us. There are always ups and downs when it comes to business so when we get to hang or meet people who appreciate our ideas and want to be a part of what we are doing it is extremely flattering and humbling at the same time.
All of our designs have a narrative to them. Some of them are easier than others to figure out, some are deeper than others and some are pretty simple. It's hard for us to just design for the sake of design, when there is so much to be said.
We want our designs to take you down the path of life, love, loss, faith, hope and redemption, ideas we can all relate to in one way or another. Each design by itself tells a unique story that adds to our collection as a whole. ephraim is the canvas we use to share our stories on. We hope you enjoy them.
All of our products are sweatshop free and crafted at the highest quality. We release all of our designs in limited quantities so that each design is unique and not in everyone's closet. Doing it this way makes them hard to get a hold of but we think our customers appreciate this exclusiveness. And once we are out of a design most likely you won't see it ever again, unless someone twists our arm pretty good then we might bring one back from time to time.
One of our biggest efforts is not only to promote the brand ephraim but use whatever clout we have to bring awareness and help to those who need it most. We have a few designs that we sell in our charity section in which we donate the proceeds to non-profit organizations we have partnered with. At times we can give a lot and other times we can only give a little. Help us continue to give.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus." (Romans 3:23-26)
Our God is a Holy God and cannot tolerate sin. Because He loves us He sent His Son Jesus to come and die for our sins. On the cross Jesus was the final sacrifice, where Jesus absorbed the wrath of God caused by our sins. Through His death the Lord took our sins and gave us His righteousness. We receive this cleansing the moment we truly place our faith in Christ. God now sees us as righteous.
